Pet Photo Contest Rules

Enter the upcoming Chico & Milo’s Dog House Pet Photo Contest now!
The following simple rules apply to all submissions and voting:

1. All entries should be uploaded via the "Add Image of Your Dog" link. Only one photo entry per dog please. Previous photo contest final round winners are not eligible for entry. If you are not 18 years or older, please have an adult submit your photo.
2. All entries should be good quality, (any electronic format is OK) and no smaller than 320 x 240. All photos submitted should be landscape mode (wide, not tall). We reserve the right to refuse any entry that does not meet these criteria, or is of poor quality or questionable taste.
3. All photos should contain one primary subject, the dog being entered. Any other animals or people in the photos must be in the background. Photos containing background subjects may be digitally altered to de-emphasize these subjects.
4. All photos entered become the property of Chico & Milo’s Dog house, and we reserve the right to digitally enhance any photos as necessary to improve the image clarity, impact or aesthetics. Additionally, we reserve the right to utilize any submitted photo on the Chico & Milo’s Dog House website and products, in Chico & Milo’s advertisements, and in other promotional materials. By submitting a photo, the entrant grants Chico & Milo’s the right to use the photo as mentioned above without compensation or permission (unless prohibited by law).
5. All photos will be entered in the order in which they are received. Each contest will last for 21 days, beginning on the first day of each month, and ending on the 28th day of each month. At the end of the contest, the first place finisher will receive a Chico & Milo’s gift certificate good for $50.00 from our web site, the second place finisher will receive a gift certificate good for $25.00 from our website, and the third place winner will receive a gift certificate good for $10.00 from our web site. Return to the photo contest page and bookmark it! Check back often to see the current entries, and to vote for your favorite. As the rounds fill up, the schedule dates for each round will be communicated to each of the entrants by email. We will not begin any new contest until we have a minimum of 25 entries for the month.
6. To vote, login with a valid email address will be necessary. Only one vote per email address per day will be allowed. Additionally, only one vote per computer per day will be allowed. Chico & Milo’s monitors votes closely, and will validate email addresses at the end of each round. Any votes which fail email verification or are ascertained to be in violation of any contest rules will be removed. Chico & Milo’s reserves this right to remove any questionable votes, and all decisions are final. Chico & Milo’s reserves the right to remove any contestant from any contest should the staff believe the contestant to be in flagrant violation of these rules.
7. Votes are counted automatically. After voting, it will be necessary to refresh the page to see the current vote tally. This contest is for the enjoyment of all, and Chico & Milo’s assumes no responsibility for difficulties with voting due to software or hardware malfunction, server down-time, high traffic volumes, communications errors, or any human error that may occur in the processing of votes.
8. All above shopping certificates must be utilized within 6 months of the end of the contest, exclusively on the Chico & Milo’s Dog House website. Prizes have no cash value, may not be redeemed for cash, and are not transferrable. Normal shipping costs are the responsibility of the winner. Winners shall be decided by viewers vote and staff validation. All decisions will be final.
9. Top three finalists will be notified by email within 72 hours of the contest end. ,
10. Chico & Milo’s reserves the right to modify these rules and prizes at any time without prior notification.
